Hi everyone! My name is Evie and I am delighted to be one of the new Heads of House for Blackman.
I currently study English Literature, History and Philosophy and Ethics for A level, and outside of school enjoy cross country, walking my dog and visiting various galleries and exhibitions.
I wanted to be House Captain in order to create and establish connections with the younger years and help to support and encourage a growing sense of school spirit!
As Heads of House, Inara and I hope to inspire and motivate all members of Blackman and encourage students to step outside of their comfort zone, make new friends and participate in inter-House games and competitions. I am committed to building house spirit and hopefully generating more throughout the year! I look forward to giving back to our school community and collaborating with my peers in this position.
Hi! My name is Inara and I am one of your new Heads of House for Blackman this year.
I am studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths along with an EPQ at A-level. My other interests include playing netball, hockey and baking.
I am so excited to have this role so I can inspire and encourage more students to try new activities, to get involved in house competitions, whilst also hoping to create some new ones so we can uplift the Blackman House spirit. I am also looking forward to contributing to the Becky High community, collaborating with teachers and peers and most importantly becoming a friendly face for the younger years.
Evie and I cannot wait to begin our new roles, get to know you all and we are extremely excited to see you participate in Sports Day and hopefully win the House cup!
