Duke of Edinburgh Student Ambassador impresses
Kate Aldersley, Operations Officer for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, recently had the pleasure of meeting Beaconsfield High School student Madeleine Champion at a DofE Ambassador training day held at Headington School. The team welcomed 30 young Ambassadors from schools across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
The Ambassadors spent the day working together and learning about The DofE Awards, developing and demonstrating communication and presentation skills. Madeleine also created an action plan to focus her new skills and knowledge in supporting and developing DofE at Beaconsfield High School.
Kate Aldersley said: “Maddy was a credit to your school, she worked with other Ambassadors to create and deliver a presentation to DofE Staff and other Ambassadors. Please pass on my congratulations to her. “
Maddy will be provided with her personal support, encouragement and resources to assist her in the new role, which will enable her to mentor younger DofE students at Beaconsfield High School.
Well done Maddy!
