The Geography department is proposing to take our GCSE students to the Field Studies Council Centre in Amersham on two educational visits to support their studies. The overwhelming advantage of these field trips for students is that apart from the interest generated by their outdoor experience of practical Geography, they can learn and consolidate the skills necessary to produce a fieldwork investigation of the highest standard, in a time efficient manner. We will be focusing one day on rivers and one day on urban studies.
Students will be required to bring a packed lunch and do not need to wear school uniform during the visits. Students need to bring sensible footwear as some walking is involved.
