Friends of Beaconsfield High School

Who are the Friends of Beaconsfield High School (FoBHS)?

We’re not an intimidating committee at all! We’ve purposely given ourselves the name Friends rather than the more formal PTA label. We’re just a group of parents who respect the school and want to give something back.

We meet once a term, sometimes in the pub, and brainstorm ideas which will appeal to families and raise funds.  We see this as a win-win.

We help the school to win by raising much needed funds, and at the same time this allows us to get to know the school and staff better and to feel that we are giving a little bit back to the school as a token of appreciation for their efforts educating our daughters.

The Friends play a very important function in the school community and even more so now as the school undertakes its impressive “Building Our Future” campaign from which all your girls will benefit and which represents very exciting times ahead for the school.

Next Meeting

All are welcome – this is our last meeting of the year. If you have helped out at a Friends event over the past year, please do come along and let us say thank-you for your help. We might even buy you a drink!
