What connects structures, spaghetti and marshmallows? STEM!

Students are taking on the edible structures challenge as part of our focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths).

Last week saw Year 7 students whip up structures to support our family of school mascots (Gubbles & co) using just four marshmallows, 20 pieces of spaghetti, one pair of scissors and three brains per group!

More than 70 students attempted the challenge on their lunch break, with more taking it on this week as part of our STEM activities with the visiting University of Reading!
